Hey Roger, here's a short story. Loki has always
displayed just enough prey drive, would love to chase
rabbits, Fox.. but has been an unreal dog as far as people
and other dogs. He's especially gentle with small dogs
and puppies. He's amazing! We were camping and hiking
today, (by the way, I keep getting told by vets, or other
people that have had GS, they don't like water. Loki
swims and loves the water, pool, lake or beach) coyotes came
out scared the kids cause they were ahead and Loki took off
after them and chased them far off into the woods. He's
the best! Hope you are around when I need another one! But,
can't tell you how great he's been for our family.
He does everything with us and everyone comments on
temperament and how he looks. I wish you and Dorothy well!

just wanted to update you on my girl, Emira. She is going to
start her Service Dog training next week. I know I'll miss
her while she's gone, but she is ready for this next step in
her life. Her innate intelligence gave her an excellent
start. One command that is spot on is her bark. She will
bark, look at me for my assessment and if I say WATCH, she
will immediately stop barking and sit to watch. I can also
say continue and she will keep barking. A watch dog and
service dog. Great combination. Thank you again...Dee

Dear Roger, I've tried writing a referral for prospective
people who want a quality GSD multiple times. I'm so
impressed with Emira that I ended up writing too many pages
listing all of her positive traits. Emira arrived in Atlanta
when she was 11 months old. Being a disabled person who
needed physical and emotional support I followed your
explicit instructions for her transitioning from Germany to
us. Six weeks later I have a loving, bonded, and obedient
dog. An example, last week I was walking Emira when I
tripped and face planted in the ground. Of course I let go
of her leash. Crying out for help and in pain I looked
around and Emira was at my side, she eventually was able to
pull me into a sitting position. That one incident proved
she will qualify as my service dog instead of a therapy pet.
After losing my last service dog over 12 years ago I lost
hope of ever having another one. Emira has made the cut!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to own
Emira. Anyone seriously considering a GSD that is brilliant
with a fantastic temperament, allow Roger to choose for you.

Here is a picture with our oldest son. The kids wanted her
to be a taco for Halloween- don't ask. In any event, she
is doing well. She is a puppy with lots of energy! Most
importantly though she has settled in with the kids and
plays well with them. Excellent temperament and seems quite
happy. She is excellent on the leash as she equates that
with working/learning new skills. She gets a little excited
when the kids run around, but that is not her fault. She has
formed quite a bond with our youngest, which is nice.
Hasn't been skittish around the animals and listens well
enough that I have been able to walk away from her in a sit
position with geese and ducks within 10 feet. She also is
quite calm in the city (lots of noise, dogs, people, sirens
etc) - hasn't gotten startled at all. I think that is
quite an accomplishment for a pup!
All in she is in great shape and well on her way!

Dear Roger:
If you scroll to the bottom you will find a zip file
with pics of Jay. They are very casual and will give you
an idea of some of his everyday life with us here in
Savannah. He is 100% a family member. Jay, Gary and I
are still with our wonderful K-9 trainer (retired
Police) (fantastic trainer and a truly "good guy") every
Saturday to continue in both his Behavioral Training and
Bite work. Absolutely cannot imagine life without JJ -
he is so integrated into our everyday life. He starts
off sleeping with us in the bedroom on his own
orthopedic doggie bed and at some point, wanders out
into the landing so he can "guard" the house as he has
an upstairs view of the downstairs and also outside! Of
course, JJ is up-to-date on all his shots. He loves to
go trotting off into the woods with us after a good run
in the fields - snow, rain and fair weather. The miles
of trails here are fantastic. Yes - we have to use the
Flee and Tick stuff as well as the Heart Guard.
You can see from one of the pictures of JJ and me on the
outside patio couch "The Kissy pic" - we are definitely
in love! I think it is wonderful that JJ seems equally
bonded to both Gary and me. I know it is usually a
little one sided but the three of us share equal loyalty
.

This puppy is everything we could ask for, She is great with
Pearl.Gypsey is so mellow for a puppy and very smart. She
was house trained in one week. She also is great with
people.(I take her to work 3 days a week)where she is
exposed to all kinds of people.She only barks to warning my
wife or me .The bottom line is you get what you pay for.

You selected the perfect dog for me, just as you said you would. Leo is a
beautiful 18 month old black male. He is a magnificent specimen of what a
German Shepard should be. He is calm, confident, obedient and alert. His
athletic ability is unbelievable. As you know from our many conversations, I
have owned six other German Shepards. After having Leo for less then three
months, I know I'll only purchase a trained dog from you. Whenever I go,
whether it is to town or to the vet's office for shots, I am always asked,
"where did you get such a beautiful dog?" Please feel free to give out my

Sorry for the delay Roger I've been on vacation for all of
August!
Debo is doing great. He was quite timid in the beginning but as he gets
older we are starting to notice his strong confident personality shine
through. He's still a very sweet pup...definitely the ideal temperament
Roger promised us.
Everywhere we go people always comment on how he is the most beautiful
German Shepherd they've seen. He's become a bit of a celebrity in the
neighbourhood...people tend to remember his name but not the owners'
lol. Debo has made us very proud :)
Whether you are looking for protection, a companion or show dog quality
pet, Im adamant that Zwinger Von Himmel has the perfect German Shepherd
for anyone. Roger takes great pride in all of his dogs. Rest assured,

Hi Roger,
We can't believe that we have such a Wonderful dog! Quenn is amazing. He
went on vacation with us to Wellesley Island and met many new friends.
He rides in the car and we don't know he is there. We walk about 2 miles
each day. When he met my father and brother he remembered them the next
time he saw them. We go to dog school each week and he is doing well. I
could go on about his Great Qualities. He sleeps in our bedroom at
night.
I will send you a new picture this weekend. Oh, my sons love him.
