VON HIMMEL BREEDING PHILOSOPHY

We focus more on the temperament, structure and bloodlines. We breed bloodlines of solid, steady temperament and structure. In the end the final decision is up to you, we will do our very best to inform and guide you. When you make your decision we will provide you with an outstanding German shepherd at a reasonable price (top quality West German high - line only).

All of the parents to our puppies have rock solid temperaments and are highly trainable, coupled with correct structure and pigmentation. We do the Schutzhund training as a hobby, we temperament test our puppies, and we find that they have excellent drive for work and know how to settle in the house. All of our breeding stock comes out of SV pink papered German imports.

Puppies, young adults and Schutzhund trained adults out of titled parents can be Directly Imported from Our Program in Germany are Available Now. Contact us for more information.

Young adults, just over one year old, with certified hip x-ray from Germany are the next level up and higher priced.

Adult with Schutzhund title 1, 2 or 3 (show, competition, breeding or protection) are of the highest priced.

We also import young dogs that are started in training, but not yet titled, that you can finish training yourself if you wish to make that choice, or we can import you a quality, proven schutzhund titled adult.

We are very strict about the dog being able to work before it enters our breeding program, it must have a clear mind and be stable in all situations.
