I'm so impressed with Emira that I ended up writing too many pages listing all of her positive traits. Emira arrived in Atlanta when she was 11 months old. Being a disabled person who needed physical and emotional support I followed your explicit instructions for her transitioning from Germany to us. Six weeks later I have a loving, bonded, and obedient dog. An example, last week I was walking Emira when I tripped and face planted in the ground. Of course I let go of her leash. Crying out for help and in pain I looked around and Emira was at my side, she eventually was able to pull me into a sitting position. That one incident proved she will qualify as my service dog instead of a therapy pet. After losing my last service dog over 12 years ago I lost hope of ever having another one.
